2019-20 Oxfordshire XC League - Round 5 - Henley on Thames

As no races are taking place at the moment, I'm creating some web pages entitled "where I was taking photos this time last year". Today, I'm looking at Round 5 of the Oxfordshire XC League that took place at the Henley Showground which is at Greenlands which is near to Henley on Thames.

Last year's event took place on Sun Mar 1st 2020. The League Manager's report of the event says "after the awful weather experienced at this event in 2019 along with all the recent heavy rain, the prospects for decent weather were not looking good early yesterday morning as the rain continued to fall - however, at around 6:30am this morning amazingly the skies cleared and the sun shone for what felt like the first time this winter! - although the conditions were cold and blustery, the conditions underfoot apeared to be good. - almost certainly the best conditions of the season had been saved for the season’s finale".

This year's event was to have taken place today (Sun Mar 7th 2021). Unfortunately, because of Covid-19 it has had to be cancelled.
